Description
Denis Mortet, Clos Vougeot Vintage:2009 Aromatic and palate filling Zaca Mesa Vineyard Viognier & Rousanne Aromatic and palate filling with the result that the wine is not at all overly oaky The mid palate of the larger scaled flavors is supple and not especially dense though the austere finale tightens up substantially Noticeable wood fights a bit with the very earthy mix of upper and lower register aromas that include red currant
